I just bought a new set of Metzelers to replace the stock tyres
last week--a ME 33 Laser on the front, and a Marathon ML2 Plus
on the back. Even though it has only been a week, I am really
impressed. In fact, after the stock tyres, the new tyres have
made the Savage a completely different bike. I have always loved
the fact that the Savage is so light, and now I feel much more
comfertable throwing the bike around corners. The bike feels much
more stable. I have not yet used the new tyres in the rain, but I
was told that they are quite good on a wet surface.
